I am now about 67% done with writing the 1st draft of my novel. I should have it completed it in about a week. All month I haven't read any books all month,talked to people, read any comics, composed, clean the house or pretty much anything else. I have to say I love love LOVE summer weather. The hotter the better. I am definitely not in my element when it's 10 degrees outside with a -15 degree windchill factor, it takes me 15 minutes to get dressed to go outside, I slip on ice while ice pellets are falling in the sky stinging my face. I just got done running. It feels like fall today with the weather being cooler and cloudy.

As I am working on the 2nd draft of my novel I have been fixing some formating of the dialog. I discovered there isn't one set standard method of having dialog presented. There are at least a 1/2 dozen formats to it. Which, as a composer, I find just really strange. When I compose music and write it down in notational form there is only ONE set way ( Read more... )

I am on day two working on my 2nd draft of my novel. It's moving along slowly because I am trying to make certain that I don't mess up anything that major or minor. Like a character's eye doesn't change color midway through the book.

I like Count Chocula. I wish I had some for breakfast!
